Terroir:: The grapes for this wine come from the Lüsswiese vineyard site, which is situated in Podersdorf am See, directly next to Lake Neusiedl, and characterised by light, dark sandy soils on a subsoil of loam and clay. The close vicinity to the lake provides for ideal conditions for the formation of noble rot.
Harvest:: The grapes were carefully selected and harvested by hand on 21 November.
Vinification:: Gentle processing, controlled fermentation, maturation in stainless steel tanks, bottled on 16 April 2024
Tasting notes:: light, bright straw yellow with orange reflections; intense, complex, spicy nutmeg fruit with fine botrytis components and honey, as well as lychee notes; very smooth and balanced on the palate with a fine sweet-acid interplay and a long fruity aftertaste (16 April 2024)
