Terroir:: The grapes for this wine come from the Edelgrund vineyard site, which is situated in the Heideboden region and has been part of Gols since the early 16th century, when it belonged to a nobleman (“Edelmann”), hence the name of this vineyard. Permeable black earth that heats easily and limy brown earth on gravel ridges are the characteristic soils of this area.
Harvest:: The grapes were carefully selected and harvested by hand on 25 October.
Vinification:: Gentle processing, controlled fermentation, maturation in stainless steel tanks, bottled on 16 May 2024
Tasting notes:: strong, bright golden yellow with orange reflections; in the nose there is a sweet, heavy scent of roses with dried fruits and a scent of dried pears; the palate continues the scent with a pleasant sweetness and fine elegance, as well as an aftertaste of cibeben (16 April 2024)
